  • Lee Harris, 28, of Woodstock Road, Yarnton, admitted criminal damage to a wooden fence belonging to St Hugh’s College, Oxford, on August 23. Also admitted possession on cannabis on the same date at St Aldate’s Police Station, Oxford. Discharged conditionally for 12 months, fined £40 and £15 victims’ surcharge.

 

  • Gavin Jones, 36, of Rowlands Road, Cholsey, admitted two charges of assault by beating at Rowland Close, Wallingford, on June 4. Also admitted criminal damage to a front door belonging to South Oxfordshire Housing Association in Rowland Close, Wallingford, on June 4. Given a 42-day prison sentence suspended for 24 months. Also given a supervision order.

 

  • John Harman, 58, of Barton Road, Headington, Oxford, admitted drink-driving in Barton Road, Headington, Oxford, on June 25. Had 78 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £350, £15 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 20 months.

Admitted shoplifting a bottle of wine worth £9.99 from Tesco in Cowley Road, Oxford, on August 28. Also admitted possession of a kitchen knife in Tesco, Cowley Road, Oxford, on August 28. Discharged conditionally for three years and told to pay £40 costs.

 

  • Thomas McDonagh, 24, of Middle Ground, Wheatley, admitted failing to provide a breath specimen in Oxford on May 16. Fined £55, £15 victims’ surcharge, and £30 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.

Given an eight-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. Also given a drug rehabilitation order and told to pay £100 compensation.
