Man cleared of GBH conspiracy
A man was today cleared of conspiring to commit grievous bodily harm on a woman from Poole.
HGV driver Everton Bailey, 41, from Mandarin Way, The Chase, Derby, denied being paid to beat up Wendy License, formerly of Witney, on the orders of her ex-husband.
Jurors at Bournemouth Crown Court will tomorrow continue to deliberate in the case of Mr Bailey's co-defendant Michael License, 55, from Lasne Crescent, Brockworth, Gloucestershire, who denies the same charge.
