A man from Falmouth who crashed a car and turned it on to its side has been charged with drink driving.
Police were called to Swanpool Road at around 3.50pm on Sunday where they found a silver Toyota Corolla on its side close to the Falmouth golf club.
Witnesses told police that there were two men in the car but they had left the vehicle and walked away from the scene.
Both men were detained by police and the road was reopened at 5.20pm. The driver of the car, a 30-year-old man from Falmouth was charged with drink driving and will appear before magistrates in Truro on September 28.
No charges were made against the passenger.
