Robin Ince is as Dumb as You, Saturday June 3, 8pm, Rondo Theatre, Bath

Comedy raconteur Robin Ince makes a triumphant return to the Rondo Theatre during Bath Fringe Festival, after a hugely successful year during which he won the Time Out Outstanding Achievement Award.

Since appearing at the Rondo last June, his career has gone from strength to strength with numerous appearances on TV and radio. Robin is a BBC Radio regular, appearing on The In Crowd, Mitch Benn's Crimes Against Music, The Day The Music Died and Loose Ends. He is also highly in demand as a writer, contributing to Have I Got News For You, The Late Edition and many other shows.

He toured extensively with Ricky Gervais in 2004 and appeared on the platinum-selling DVD of the show recorded at Hammersmith Apollo. He has performed around the world from Sarajevo to Sydney, from Warrington to Warsaw, as well as with the Stranglers when they played to 1500 squaddies in Bosnia.

More recently, Robin has been changing the face of stand-up comedy in Britain with his cult hit ensemble show, The Book Club, every month at the Albany in London. Robin returns to the Rondo with his show Robin Ince is as Dumb as You but with the addition of plenty of new material since last year.
