MEMBERS were faced with divided loyalties when they took part in two inter-club competitions on the same night, with The Strange Case of the Doctor's Journal, a film by Mike Graham, representing the club at both locations.
Six members traveled to Staines Cine and Video Club in a bid to retain the Silver Salver they won last year.
Although they didn't win outright this time, their film came runner-up in a battle against seven other entries.
Meanwhile, 10 members made their way to Shooter's Hill Cine and Video Society, which was hosting the annual Triangle competition with OVFM competing against Epsom and Spring Park.
Friendly competition ensued as each club presented half an hour of film.
At the end of the evening, the jurors decided Spring Park's programme was the most entertaining but, much to the delight of OVFM, awarded the Croydon Trophy for best film of the evening to The Strange Case of the Doctor's Journal.
