I AM researching my family history and require your readers help. A number of my ancestors lived and worked in Wellington, some of them at Tonedale Mills. The employment records from the early days at Tonedale Mills did exist just a few years ago. Does anyone know where they are now. Perhaps the Fox family retained them or they might have been passed on to the present or recent owners perhaps. I would dearly love to view them, in view of the family significance. I will be travelling to Wellington shortly and would appreciate any help toward accessing, locating the records. Could someone donate the historical records to the registry office if they have not already. It would be a great shame if the records were lost forever.
