STUDENTS at Studley High School brushed up their Shakespeare to perform scenes from Much Ado About Nothing alongside actors from the Playbox Theatre Company.
A total of 150 Year 9 pupils were involved in drama workshops which looked at the plot, characters, relationships and events of the play.
The workshops, run and organised by Playbox, lasted two days and were designed to help pupils towards their SATs.
Debbie Hopcroft, the school's curriculum area leader for performing arts, said: "We've done this for a few years now and we have a really good relationship with the group.
"The students loved it, they really enjoyed themselves and I always get very positive feedback. They learn a lot from it."
