Students at Elgar Technology College celebrated Red Nose Day with a red themed non-uniform day.
An array of students turned up with wild hair, wacky clothes and crazy hats. Events and activities included year 8 girls offering hair braiding and spraying, nail painting and makeovers.
A year 10 tuck shop in the library, cake baking in food technology, raffles, students participating in a sponsored silence and a three a side football tournament arranged by year 8 boys.
Students, parents and staff donated generously to the appeal which raised in excess of £800
