Mystery is still surrounding the whereabouts of the owner of a yacht found anchored off the coast near Mullion at the weekend.
Air and sea searches were carried out on Saturday after the craft was found empty with the engine running.
It is now thought only one person may have been on board when the yacht, the Grey Seal, put to sea. The personal belongings of the owners were in tact on board when the vessel was towed into Newlyn.
A Falmouth coastguard spokesman said there was "quite a big swell" running together with strong winds when the yacht was spotted.
Two Royal Navy rescue helicopter from Culdrose were involved in the search but have now been stood down.
A spokesman said it was not looking good for the yacht owner. An infra red carrying RAF helicopter had also been brought in overnight but nothing was found.
