Police forces from around the UK will descend on Bradford next week to share good practice on community safety.
West Yorkshire Police is hosting its fifth National Market Place on Monday at the National Media Museum, to be opened by the force's Deputy Chief Constable Julia Hodson.
The first conference of its kind was introduced by the Force's Community Safety Department in 2001.
This year's theme is Neighbourhood Policing and Community Engagement. Presentations will focus on tackling community concerns such as alcohol and licensing issues, youth gang culture, drug crime, burglary, criminal damage and anti-social behaviour.
DCC Hodson said: "West Yorkshire Police is proud to be able to bring together community safety practitioners from right across the country at the National Market Place event.
"Our aim is to highlight proven pieces of good practice and bring them to the attention of other people working in this area in the hope that they are able to utilise some of these new ideas for the benefit of their communities."
