SEVEN satellite navigation systems worth more than £2,000 have been stolen in a spate of thefts from vehicles across Worcestershire.

Four sat-navs have been stolen in Malvern, two in Evesham, and one in Worcester between Thursday, March 1 and last Saturday (10). The toal value of the thefts is £2,327 and police are warning people to be vigilant.

The seven thefts are (incident number in brackets): * A £388 Tom Tom stolen from a grey Renault Laguna in Brookthorpe Close, Worcester, between 11pm on Friday (9) and 8.40am the next day (231S/100307); * A £400 Tom-Tom taken from a white Mercedes Vito van in Worcester Road, Malvern, around 9pm on Friday (9) (823S/090307); * A £300 Nav-Man from a grey Mitsubishi L200 pick-up in Geraldine Road, Malvern, at around 1am on Friday (9) (96S/090307); * A £400 Sony sat-nav from a silver Volkswagen Golf in Graham Road, Malvern, between 12pm and 12.30pm on Wednesday, March 7 (63S/070307); * A £250 sat-nav from a blue Volkswagen Golf in Sycamore Avenue, Evesham, between 1am and 10am on Sunday, March 4 (242S/040307); * A £200 Tom-Tom from a blue Honda Accord in Madresfield Road, Malvern, between 7.20pm and 8.50pm on Thursday, March 1 (719S/010307); * A £389 Tom-Tom was taken from a blue Renault Espace, in Evesham, between 7.20pm on Wednesday, February 28 and 1.30pm the next day (336S/010307).
