QUESTION
My dog who is male, seems to have trouble urinating as if it hurts him. He will wee slowly in short spurts and sometimes will urinate indoors as it seems he cannot hold it. However this does not happen all the time but on occasions and I am worried this may be the first signs of something more serious. Please help!

There is little advice I can offer in this case; there are many things that could be wrong - some physical and some behavioural. I would definately suggest that you consult your vet and take a urine sample with you as this will save time in diagnosis.
