An annual procession to mark the birthday of the Muslim prophet Mohammed will wend its way through the streets of Keighley this Sunday.
The event, organised by the Keighley Muslim Association, is part of the festival of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, which will be celebrated by thousands of Muslims across the UK.
The procession begins at the Emily Street mosque at noon, takes in a tour of the town centre, then returns to the mosque for 1.30pm.
Sajid Khan, the association's community liaison officer, said: "This date is important to Muslims because the birth of the prophet Mohammed is a great blessing for the whole of humanity."
Mahboob Alam, the association's general secretary, said the day would also include talks by award-winning Islamic scholars and poetry readings.
