STOURPORT won three out of their first five games in English Hockey League Indoor Men's Division Two North.
They beat Wolverhampton 7-2, Sheffield Hallam 5-3 and Cheltenham 6-5 over the first weekend.
But Harleston Magpies and Nottingham are the top two in the six-team table, beating Stourport 8-2 and 8-6 respectively.
Stourport continue their campaign at Fleming Park, Eastleigh, this weekend.
They play Nottingham and Old Georgians on Saturday before tackling Holcombe, Harleston Magpies and Old Midwhitgiftians on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Perdiswell Leisure Centre, Worcester, stages the EHL Women's Division Two games this weekend.
Among the teams featured will be University of Birmingham, Loughborough Students and Nottingham Highfields.
