WORCESTER City are full of confidence as they prepare for their next test in the FA Youth Cup.

Ray Woods' side demolished Cradley Town 10-0 in the first qualifying round at St George's Lane last month.

The victory set up a home clash with Racing Club Warwick on Wednesday night.

Delighted youth development officer Woods said: "It wasn't only the scoreline, it was the manner of the performance.

"We pride ourselves on passing and moving. Irrespective of the Cradley performance, our boys did ever so well and made them look very ordinary.

"Cradley have a good reputation, they have been to the first round proper in the past and they were hopeful of getting a good result."

City are in impressive form at present, having despatched Castle Vale 5-1 at home in the Midland Floodlit Youth League Premier Division in mid-week.

There were two goals from Ben Miller, while Matt Dinsmore, Leigh Bergin and Kristian Rolston were also on the scoresheet.

Woods said: "We have got a little bit of a run going. We go into it with a lot of confidence but not over-confidence.

"We are confident in terms of we are at home and you can't ask for more than that.

"We know it's going to be a much harder prospect but we are ready for it."
