New jobs could be coming to Braintree when an East London firm relocates to the town in a £2.75 million move.
Door manufacturer FR Shadbolt and Sons has bought the three-acre Springwood Works site and plans to begin production by the end of the year.
It was unavailable for comment today, but the surveyor appointed to handle the sale, McLeod Wright, said "some recruiting from the local work force" would be required.
