DETECTIVES in Bolton are continuing to appeal for witnesses after a man was attacked with a meat cleaver in the early hours of Saturday.
Police were called to Arkwright's Ale House, on Valletts Lane, Bolton, shortly after midnight.
The man, who had been drinking with his wife in the pub earlier that evening, was found outside with wounds to his arm and head. His wife was also hurt.
The three men have been described as white and aged in their early 20s. One was dressed in white shorts with a white T-shirt while another was reported to be wearing a red jacket.
