A COMPETITION to design a poster warning people about drug abuse has been held by schools in Gerrards Cross and Seer Green.
Former TV presenter Johnny Ball awarded prizes at Gerrards Cross C of E School, Moreland Drive. Children in years five and six from about ten schools in Gerrards Cross and Seer Green designed posters on drugs misuse, alcohol abuse and the dangers of smoking.
Sam Jenkins, ten, from Gerrards Cross School won first prize.
Ten-year-olds Hannah O'Flanagan and Lorna Bowles, both from Seer Green C of E School, won second and third prize.
