Stars of sport and showbiz descended on Richmond when The Bunbury's celebrity cricket team played its first charity game in the borough.
At the event on Sunday on Richmond Green, the Bunbury's team included the club's founder, actor David English, comedian Frank Skinner, radio presenter Jamie Theakston, EastEnders actor Rudolph Walker, England cricketer Mark Butcher, former Test stars Mark Ramprakash and Wayne Larkins, and former world welterweight boxing champion Lloyd Honeyghan.
They played against a team assembled by the Mayor of Richmond, Councillor Robin Jowit, and led by Chief Inspector Chris Phillips of Twickenham Police.
The match raised money for The Shooting Star Children's Hospice in Hampton, Kew-based charity, INS, which provides support for people with strokes, Parkinson's disease or MS and the England Schools Cricket Association.
Mayor Jowit, said: "The Bunbury's first ever visit to Richmond was a real day to remember, not only for the charities, but also for the many visitors who had a glorious afternoon of entertainment."
