AN OLD Bailey jury heard how a former model framed as a cocaine dealer by a Bexleyheath policeman used to date premiership footballers and a soap star.

The trial of four men accused of helping police detective Austin Warnes, aged 47, of Heath Road, Dartford frame Kim James continues this week.

Mrs James told the court she had dated premiership footballers Stan Collymore and Phil Babb. When asked if ex-Liverpool striker Collymore had taken drugs during their relationship she said she had no idea.

Mrs James, aged 29, of Crystal Palace, said she was never a user.

It emerged during the trial the former-model-turned-aerobics-instructor had also dated ex-Neighbours star Stefan Denis when she was 18 years old.

Mrs James claims her husband, Simon, aged 34, paid Warnes, doorman Dave Courtney, aged 41 of Chestnut Rise, Plumstead, James Cook, aged 45, a student from Kingswood, Surrey, and Thornton Heath private eye Jonathan Rees, 46, to frame her so he would win custody of their three-year-old son.

All four men deny conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
