A LONG serving Girls' Brigade officer celebrated 40 years of service at a recent presentation.
Jenny Chance, captain of 2nd Chard Girls' Brigade received a 40 years service badge, certificate and engraved paperweight from the company.
Members of the brigade took part in a special service at Chard Methodist Church where Jenny received a bunch of flowers from the congregation, with everyone enjoying a celebration cake afterwards.
