EGYPTIAN dancing comes to Hartlepool's Town Hall Theatre this week in the show, Strictly Bellydance.

The Tarab Dance Company will profile different styles of Egyptian dancing in an entertaining way that earned rave reviews at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The show is on Thursday, at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £7, or £6 for concessions, from the box office on 01429-890000.

EASTER TREAT: An Easter egg-stravaganza is taking place at Lingfield Countryside Centre, Coulby Newham, from 1pm to 3pm, on Wednesday. There will be craft activities and Easter-themed fun on offer, as well as an Easter trail. There is a charge of 50p and participants are advised to "dress for mess". DIABETES TALK: Specialist nurse Jo Begley will give a talk on diabetes and erectile dysfunction at tomorrow's meeting of the Diabetes UK South Cleveland group. It will be held at 7pm in the education centre at The James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough. Free admission.
