REGARDING access for pedestrians and cyclists from Penarth into the Bay.
There is a path over the Cogan Spur - it's not all that wide but if a stout barrier was erected to separate it from the road you have safe pedestrian access.
It is accessible thanks to the crossings at the Barons Court.
Any cyclists who do not wish to brave cycling over the link could, if necessary, push their bikes - all this for the price of a bit of motorway type barrier.
It would do until the alternative is built.
As a secondary topic and, just having had my council tax bill, can I ask "Why on earth do we need a Penarth Council"?
