GREAT Sankey High School's year 10 rugby league team could be set for double glory after reaching a national final.
Great Sankey will face Wigan's St John Fisher High School in the final of the Carnegie Champion Schools tournament at RAF Uxbridge in London on August 24.
They made it through to the final after Thursday's 38-6 semi-final victory at Normanton Freeston High School - the former school of Warrington Wolves forward Ben Westwood - in Rochdale.
And they will also meet St John Fisher in the North West Counties School Cup Final at Robin Park, Wigan, on April 24 at 6.15pm.
The national final will take place a day before the Challenge Cup Final and both sides will take part in a half-time parade at the new Wembley.
