It has been a while since i posted a blog and alot has happened these past few weeks. I have also been given a date for my homecoming which is a few days earlier than i had planned.

I get a month off when i get back so that will be filled with catching up with friends and family and the local pub landlord. I have been on normal shift patterns the past few weeks so that has allowed me to soak up the sun and go to the gym finally! So all is well i now have 19 days left before the big off, the tour out here has been fantastic and eye-opening i would definately do it again but somewhere different as i like to travel and my list of countries visited has steadily grown over the years and also i get a different medal instead of getting a bar on the one for this tour.

The tiny mouse i wrote about has been around recently the cheeky thing has probably moved to someone elses tent. On the subject of mice we did have a mouse problem in our accomodation tent that was until we deployed my mouse trap or the destroyer as it has now become known.

Now we have no more problems with mice, either the mouse trap is working or the mice have got clever and are using a different route in and out of the tent, I like to think it is the first.

The temperature is definately picking up and it is nearly time to pack my winter sleeping bag away and replace it with my summer sleeping bag, one reason would be the outside temperature the other is the air conditioning seems to have a mind of it's own and likes to go from freezing one night to absolutely roasting the next. By the time ive done that itll be nearly time to pack everything up to go home.

So in summary its has been an excellent tour and I went to the shop the other day to buy a tour T-shirt so now i can officially say "Been there, got the T-shirt!"
