DUE to the inadequate green boxes (no lids) and small green and blue plastic bags to place recycling items in, on recycling day, when windy, we are treated to a flying display of paper and cardboard, and a rolling chicane of plastic containers and metal cans.
Has the hit squad been issued with video cameras to film this?

* A City of York Council spokeswoman said: "The recycling collections have become increasingly popular and the council is now able to collect a wide range of materials.
"Many residents use their own containers, such as carrier bags, when they have additional materials.
"Whilst we cannot control this, we can offer additional recycling boxes and bags, upon request, to help ensure that containers are not overflowing and to reduce the likelihood of materials blowing out on windy days.
"We are currently looking at ways of improving the storage of recyclables and welcome suggestions."
