CHILDREN from the area dressed up for the occasion at the Red Nose Day mini-tennis finals at Rubery's Waseley Hills High School last Friday.
Organisers encouraged parents and children to wear something bright red to the tournament in honour of the special day.
Mandy Newbold, North Worcestershire SSP Partnership development manager, said: "It was a great day, where all the parents and children really enjoyed themselves.
"We encouraged everyone to wear red, so it was a very bright tournament."
The tournament saw pupils from Millfields, St Andrew's, Meadows, Lickey End and Beaconside first and primary schools compete, all of whom had won qualifying tournaments.
Parents were invited to make contributions to Red Nose Day while watching their tiny tennis titans play.
Winners Meadows First School will represent north Worcestershire at the county finals at Malvern's Indoor Tennis Centre on June 28. St Andrew's and Lickey End were the runners-up.
