WHAT is happening to our village? I am a resident of Rainhill Village and what was once a lovely village is becoming a ghost village.
The reason being the car park was changed to a Pay and Display' last year. There is nowhere to park free of charge even for 10 minutes. People are boycotting the shops and I know that the retailers are all suffering.
The council do not want to know, they have a piece of land fenced off which could be turned into a car park.
When all the shops eventually close down, the residents who like to shop locally will have nowhere to shop.
Please help us!
