DUDLEY residents can help shape the future of the Black Country at a series of regeneration events.

The future for jobs, housing, shopping, the environment and leisure facilities will be up for discussion under the Black Country Core Strategy for Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton.

The strategy will become a blueprint for how all four boroughs will develop over the next 15 years.

Officers will be on hand at a variety of borough venues to get residents' views.

On Thursday February 22 people can have their say at The Ryemarket, Stourbridge, on Tuesday February 27 at Merry Hill, on Wednesday February 28 at Signpost, High Street, Brierley Hill and at Ladies Walk Centre, Sedgley, on Tuesday March 6.

All events are open between 10am and 4pm.

Councillor Malcolm Knowles, cabinet member for regeneration, said: "It is important that people get along to these events and have a say on the future of their area.

"The regeneration of Dudley borough is something we can all make happen for the benefit of generations to come."
