CHRIS Hargadon claimed back-to-back wins in Barnton & Frodsham AC's matches last week.
He destroyed the opposition in the regular Wednesday match with a haul of 16 skimmers, together with a few roach, that registered 10-1-0 on the scales.
All of his fish were caught from peg 40 on the tip rod with groundbait feeder and big white maggot on the hook.
Terry Middleton was second on peg 36 using the same method.
His haul weighed in at 3-11-0 of skimmers and roach.
Ronny Durr was third with 3-1-9.
Hargadon's second win of the week came on Saturday.
He again used tip rod to good effect as he put together another net of skimmers and roach which weighed in at 8-3-0.
Trevor Jones was a close second, using pole to present pinkie at 10 metres to land 12 crucians and the odd roach for 7-14-0.
Terry Middleton was again in the frame as he took third place with 5-4-14.
THE fifth round of the Scott's Shield took place the following day, Sunday.
John Warburton won with 2-9-6 of skimmers and roach taken on tip-fished red maggot from a peg below the bungalows on the Red Lion stretch of the River Weaver.
Arthur Kennedy was second.
