WE feel that your readers will be confused by the two appeals for a scanner.
Ours covers the people in the Trowbridge area and not the appeal for a second scanner at RUH Bath.
We are able to send patients through their GP and consultant for a scan within seven-10 days, whereas those referred to RUH Bath have to wait up to four months. Over the last 18 months over 100 men and women from Trowbridge have used our service. We would like to acknowledge the support received for the appeal from Trowbridge residents. It is vital that we continue this service. We need about £1,000 a month.
Be assured that 100 per cent of monies raised goes to cover the cost of the MRI or CT scan. Your continues support is and will be much appreciated.
