TWO youths today tried to rob the Halifax bank in Sheep Street, Bicester.
Police said the men, aged between 16-23, entered the Halifax, shortly before 1.50pm. They demanded money but staff activated the security system and the shutters came down. No one was injured in the incident.
The offenders left empty handed. It is believed they made off on bicycles in the direction of Wesley Lane.
