CONCESSIONARY parking at the Alexandra Hospital is set to be made clearer.
In response to complaints from the public, signage has now been put in place at pay machines at both the Alex and the Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
Disabled people with blue parking badges can park for free, even if they have to park in an ordinary space, providing the badge is clearly displayed.
A Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust spokes-man said: "The concessionary parking fees can make a significant difference to patients and their visitors, especially to those who are long stay patients, and we would encourage the public to take full advantage of them."
The Patient and Public Involvement in Health Forum, which highlighted the complaints, is an independent body with statutory powers.
To find out more about its work and role, call the Worcestershire Forum Support Office, which is based at 7 Sansome Place, Worc-ester, on 01905 24060.
