AN ATHLETIC pensioner made a sprinting visit to Wotton-under-Edge this week on his way to Land's End.
Dr Antony Twort, 83 from Godalming, was raising money for Cancer Research UK when he made his quick rest stop in Wotton.
It was Dr Twort's seventh successful walk from John O'Groats to Land's End. His first attempt was in 1977.
