A snowboarder fell to her death in the Swiss Alps as her boyfriend looked on.
Varri Leggat, 33, had stopped to admire the view when she fell down a hidden fissure.
She had been in the Alps snowboarding with her Belgian boyfriend, who is understood to be a mountain guide, and six of his clients when the accident happened last Thursday.
Ms Leggat, whose family live near East Kilbride, Lanarkshire, died instantly in the accident on the Grenz glacier, which straddles the Italian-Swiss border.
