STAFF from Goadsby's land department are on the move to new premises at the NFU Building in Dorchester.
They are relocating to the complex in Church Street above its estate agency in High West Street.
Land manager Laura Jacobs said: "The Department is expanding at such a rapid rate that we have simply outgrown our current premises.
"2006 was a highly successful year for us and our predictions show that 2007 is likely to be even busier as we are currently dealing with a number of deals covering the whole of our western region.
"This move to bigger premises allows us the opportunity to expand still further and to provide an improved service to our developer clients."
Miss Jacobs said that land was fetching top prices.
"Large gardens, unused buildings and plots of land are still in big demand by both national and local developers and are commanding figures well in excess of a million pounds an acre.
"Our new offices will now give us the extra space for people who think they may be sitting on a goldmine' to pop in and discuss with us whether their land has any potential for development.
"In addition our new land database will prove to be a useful tool for co-ordinating and predicting the sale of new land within the Dorchester, Weymouth and Bridport areas."
