DON't miss the chance to see English folk legends Fairport Convention play a special one-off concert at The Brindley on Friday, November 3, at 8pm.
The show will be an all-acoustic affair with Simon Nicol, lead vocal and guitars, Ric Sanders, violin, Chris Leslie, lead vocal, fiddle, bouzouki, mandolin, and Gerry Conway, percussion.
The band won a coveted Lifetime Achievement Award in 2002 at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.
Their 1969 album Liege and Life was voted the best folk album ever by listeners.
These much loved musicians still play to packed venues on their frequent tours.
Tickets priced £15/£13 are available from the box office on 0151 907 8360.
