A WINWICK mum is set to feature in two national baby magazines after her ingenious idea to help pregnant women caught the attention of the National Childbirth Trust.
Jennifer Park is the brain behind the Bumpband, a supportive and fashionable alternative to maternity wear.
The 35-year-old came up with the product because when she was pregnant none of her clothes would fit her ever-expanding bump.
She also found that maternity wear was unflattering and expensive.
The band fits with other tops giving a layered effect - a look that impressed the NCT, which invited her to help sell the creation on their stall at The Baby Show in London.
The mum-of-two said: "To get a stand like that would cost a lot of money - for the National Childbirth Trust to basically call me and ask if they can sell my product and to recommend it means a lot because people trust them.
"It's going really, really well. It's been recommended by all the major national baby magazines and it's going to be featured in the May issues of Mother and Baby and Practical Parenting."
