SCHOOL and college students from Redditch and Studley have been attending Midlands Soldier, the Army's largest careers event in the West Midlands.
Now in its seventh year, Midlands Soldier attracts more than 120 schools and colleges from across the region to MOD Stafford, where it showcases the 145 trades offered as a career in the Army, including engineering, logistics, communications and infantry.
Students from Studley High School, St Augustine's Catholic High School and CSV Redditch training centre met soldiers, who told them about specialist career groups and gave first-hand accounts of their experiences.
