BRANDSBY Agricultural Trading Association, better known as BATA, has reached 50 years as an authorised distributor of Texaco oil products.

This long-term partnership began in 1956 with the then Regent Oil Company and has developed into a substantial part of BATA's current activities.

Fuel products are delivered by road tankers to the Amotherby depot and redistributed to customers across the trading area of North and East Yorkshire.

BATA's chief executive, Steven Clarke, said that the partnership with Texaco was of great value as both quality and continuity of supply were assured.

This provided the foundation for the success and growth of the business where BATA's total package of energy services includes oil, gas, boiler maintenance and tank installations, giving customers the benefit of exceptional levels of service with good value.
