PEOPLE are being asked for their views on how to improve gardens and a churchyard.
Questionnaires have been sent out to residents about the proposed renovation of Plumstead Gardens and St Nicholas Churchyard, Church Manorway, Plumstead, and its 0.3 hectare grounds.
The Woolwich Regeneration Agency has appointed a team of environmental design specialists from independent arts organisation Greenwich Mural Workshop to consult with the public.
Residents within a half-mile radius of the gardens, including youth and church groups, are being asked for their views.
Workshops will then be held to display the views from the questionnaires.
The Open Design Workshops will be held next month and in June at St Nicholas Church, St Nicholas Road, Plumstead, and at Bannockburn Primary School, Plumstead High Street, Greenwich.
A final detailed master plan will then be on display at a public exhibition at the end of July.
Carol Kenna, from Greenwich Mural Workshop, said: "Only by listening can we get to know the real feelings people have for the gardens and hear their aspirations and needs."
