We have a great opportunity for a talented web applications developer. As part of s1's in-house technical development team your role will include web application server programming, content management systems, data imports and exports, email and SQL.

You will become part of our in-house technical team, working in a casual but professional commercial environment helping to create world-class websites for s1.

You should have experience implementing SQL-based database-driven websites using Perl, PHP or similar, and should have at least a working knowledge of MySQL.

You should be comfortable with Javascript and used to writing and maintaining Javascript-based systems, ideally with some exposure to techniques such as Ajax and the DOM. You should be resourceful and be able to use web resources to advance your Javascript knowledge as & when required.

You should have working knowledge of other client-side technologies such as CSS & HTML, and you combine them with your server programming skills to produce and maintain world class sites and services.

You should be a self-starter, dedicated to providing best-of-breed technical solutions, attentive to detail and able to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical people in a commercial online business. This position is not suitable for a trainee or recent graduate.
