Ecstatic Jamie Langley has handed the Bulls' title hopes a massive boost by declaring himself fit for tonight's Grand Final eliminator.

The club's player of the year sat out the last four games due to a groin/hernia injury but makes a welcome return for the crunch fixture at KC Stadium.

All-action Langley has been a driving force for the champions this season and his ruggedness will be much-needed against a super-confident Hull side who pushed St Helens so close in last week's qualifying semi-final.

For tonight's victorious side, Saints lie in wait at next Saturday's Old Trafford showpiece and the loose forward is determined to make sure it is the Bulls who pull through.

Langley said: "It's big-game football. These are the games that you really look forward to playing in. It's massive.

"When you sit down and think about it, it brings a smile to your face and I'm sure all the boys are the same.

"We know Hull are a good side but we're just concentrating on our own performance; we don't worry about things out of our hands. I'm just glad to be back and involved."

Langley had to pull out of the Great Britain Tri-Nations squad, knowing he needs surgery on his injury once the season ends.

That was a big disappointment but he vowed to get himself right for the Bulls' play-off push and the recent lay-off has left him feeling stronger than ever.

After coming through yesterday's final training session unscathed, he said: "It's a relief to be back.

"I've been hoping to get back in for the last couple of weeks but I've just not quite been there. I am now and I'm ready to go.

"I've done a load of strengthening and rehab and am right to get straight into it. I've been doing a lot of work on areas where previously I had no strength.

"I've not known that until I got assessed for this injury but it's miles better now and, once I get mended up at the end of the season, I'll really be firing on all cylinders."

The 22-year-old England international is renowned for his huge tackling appetite, something that will certainly be required tonight against one of the toughest packs around.

As well as his defensive prowess, Langley's willingness to do the hard yards could be vital for the visitors, who are entering a game without Trojan prop Andy Lynch for the first time this season.

"Ces has been a top performer all year and it's tough what has happened to him," said Langley, about his team-mate's broken ankle misery.

"But it's good for me to be back now and I'll be trying to do a job for this team."
