FIRE safety was the subject for fathers and sons when they were given tours of Loughton Fire Station.
Blue Watch met the dads and their children to teach them about the dangers of fire in a day out arranged by the organisation Just for Dads.
Firefighter Julian Williams said: "The group really enjoyed their time at the fire station. They were shown all the items of fire kit worn by firefighters and how they protect us. At the end of the session they were shown around the fire appliances and shown the equipment carried on them."
