TAUNTON Town's manager Gary Domone believes their two matches over Easter could decide whether or not they claim a play-off spot in Division One (S&W) of the British Gas Business Southern League.

The Peacocks entertain in-form Winchester City on Saturday and travel to play Lymington and New Milton on Easter Monday.

They are currently outside the play-off zone in eighth but, after the Easter matches, have a favourable run-in.

Domone said: "A lot will depend on how we do in the two games over Easter.

"If we can take four points from those games I would be happy. I think that would go a long way to helping us win a top five position.

"But Winchester is going to be an unbelievably difficult game.

"They are a strong, physical team and are probably the division's form side at the moment.

"After Lymington, which is another tough one, we have four games left against sides we should beat.

"We couldn't have really asked for a better run in, but we still have to do the business.

"Whatever happens, it's exciting times for the club and it's great to have something to play for at this stage of the season."

Taunton's last four games are against Windsor and Eton (h), Newport Isle of Wight (a), Hanwell Town (h) and Bracknell Town (h).

Domone is hoping to be at full strength for the Winchester game.

Midfielder Aaron Wilson missed the Bitton Somerset Premier Cup game with a bug but should be fit to face Winchester.
