Phil Collins was in tip-top form for Didcot Conservative Club A who scored a 5-0 victory at Gladiators Club in the Wallingford & District League.
Collins completed the victory with a break of 10,400 which led to a total of 19,330 after Leon Beer (13,110), Tony Walsh (7,580), Roy Clough (7,360) and Stuart Florey (6,490) had made it 4-0.
There was a real ding-dong match between Portcullis Club A and Rose & Crown A, who won 3-2 Terry Alder put Portcullis ahead with a total of 10,150 only to see Mark Turner register 10,080 for the Chilton team, who then went ahead through Ray Hayter's total of 9,040.
Then, in a tense decider, Joe O'Farrell beat Mick Shepherd 7,040-5,980 to give Crown the verdict.
Portcullis B crashed 5-0 at John Barleycorn, for whom Stuart Giles top-scored with 12,180 while his team registered a total of 29,350.
Portcullis made only 4,690 between them, Jan Dybiece doing best with 1,350.
Comrades Club beat Didcot Labour Club 3-2 with wins by Chris Alexander (5,200) Tony Rouse (4,200) and Dave Reddings (2,170), while Steve Summers (3,530) and Don Burson (3,830) replied.
