WARRINGTON based Stationery Box is in administration.
The company, which has a head office off Hawleys Lane, confirmed the news earlier today, Tuesday.
It is one of the town's largest employers with 275 staff.
A large number of job losses are expected.

UPDATE - A senior staff member refused to comment or say who from the company could comment when the Guardian called this afternoon.
The administrators are understood to be Leonard Curtis.
61 of the stores have been bought by Partners, another stationary chain.
Around 80 other stores, including the Bridge Street branch in the town centre, face closure unless buyer can be found.
