PUPILS at a Malvern Link Primary School have been busy improving the grounds.
The youngsters were making paintings which will go around the newly-refurbished pond at the school.
St Matthias recently received £10,000 from the Woolworths Kids First fund to help pay for work on the grounds.
This has included the installation of a sensory garden and a willow sculpture, as well as restoring the pond.
Year Five teacher Evelyn Henderson said: "A group of parents have been digging it all out and this week the children have been painting around it."
Paintings were designed by the children, based on creatures they would like to see in the pond. They were executed under the guidance of parent Spencer Simpson.
"The fact the children were so involved with the design was important in getting us the Woolworth award," she said.
