Draw specialists Bicester Town were denied a long-awaited win by a string of fine saves by Fairford keeper Kyle Murdoch in Sport Italia Hellenic League Premier Division on Saturday.
Adam Hamp finished off a good move to give hosts Bicester the lead in the 14th minute, but then they could find no way past Murdoch.
Fairford were reduced to ten men in the second half when player-manager Ady Roper was sent off after being shown a second yellow card.
But Bicester were unable to make this count, and Ashley Edenborough reacted first to a quickly taken free-kick to equalise in the 62nd minute.
It was Bicester's third 1-1 draw in seven days and their 15th draw this term.
