I NOTICED a small article that Dudley Council are going to launch a green wheelie bin for its residents.

It is about time that we were brought into line with the majority of other councils to have wheelie bins.

The black bags are ripped apart by magpies and other vermin every Friday causing such a mess.

My question is: Why the green ones before the general refuse?

I don't actually want a green wheelie bin, it just won't be used.

I like many others took advantage of the £4 compost bin offer (which is now £6 but still great value for money).

I compost my grass cuttings, peelings and lots of other things (not egg shells, it attracts rats). Why would I want a green wheelie bin?

I also took advantage of the recycle box provided for paper, cans and glass but think Dudley Council needs to provide a black wheelie bin first before the green ones.
